when pacman -Su I get:
:: monodevelop-0.5-1: local version is newer

I did pacman -Ss monodevelop
staging/monodevelop 0.5-s3
a mono port of SharpDevelop, a .NET Integrated Development Tool

so once upon a time monodevelop was built from pkgbuild on my own or sth like it, and never was on TUR before.

now it sees, and I understand why -s1 is taken as an older version, and I don't mind that. but seeing this:
mplayer-1.0pre4-2: ignoring package upgrade (1.0pre5-4)

gave me the idea that pacman should be more informative and say:
:: monodevelop-0.5-1: local version is newer (skipping version 0.5-s3)
or sth like it

Judd, nice job i general.
I did a pacman -Sh and the thing has been doubled in the last 6 months! (print uris is very usable, coz not all people live in Canada or US :) :))
