Details

I have installed the current branch from floppy via ftp.
The installation worked good, X starts etc, but I don't have any xorg.conf on my entire disc.
I know, i can create one using xorgconfig, but i think this is still a bug, isn't it?

No, this is standard with the XFree86/Xorg packages. There is no template .conf file, you must create it from scratch using one of the provided utilities...

"xorgcfg -textmode" is my preferred method.
