The parameter "--enable-pdftops" is missing in the current PKGBUILD for cups 1.3.10. This prevents people from printing pdf files as /usr/lib/cups/filter/pdftops is missing. See http://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=70393 . This is what will happen: $ lp testfile.pdf lp: Unsupported format 'application/pdf'! |

Also take a look at my post in that thread. It's a different problem, but I think that the change in config files needs to be addressed in some way.

This is effecting me as I use a postscript printer. Had to roll back to 1.3.9.

I too have the problem with the url changing to ipv6 and the solution by copying over cupsd.conf.default like descriped in the threat. So some kind of letting the package system address/solve this (or at least notify the user) will be neccessary.
