DetailsWhile unofficial, i586 needs a ftp.archlinux.org/i586/setup directory containing pacman.pkg.tar.gz (with static pacman) and packages.txt.
Also makepkg.conf contains i686 and pacman.conf contains the "future" paths of current/os/i586 and not current. |

As soon as Jason gets this fixed I have been working on updating the floppy images for ftp install :)

As I've said before, this will happen, but it will take a while. There is a lot of rethinking and code changing that needs doing before you'll see this happen.
