Description:
When trying to mount anything with the newest hal version, it won't mount at all. This goes for CD/DVDs as well as external devices. PCManFM gives me a "Directory doesn't exist message." and Nautilus doesn't give me any error messages; it just won't mount. Rebuilding hal from abs while disabling policykit and acl-management fixed all problems instantly.

Additional info:
hal 0.5.12git20090406.46dc48-1
acl 2.2.47-2
policykit 0.9-7
kernel26 2.6.29.1-3

Steps to reproduce:
Try to mount a usb-device or a CD/DVD via hal on a vanilla arch installation

I can't reproduce this with gvfs-enabled applications like nautilus that use hal for mounting. Is your login registered with consolekit? Without consolekit registration, you won't have access by default.
