Description:
Last night I updated (pacman -Syu, repos enabled core, extra, community).
mysql got updated to 5.1.33 along with mysql-clients and libmysqlclient.

This resulted in:
(when running dovecot)
/usr/lib/libmysqlclient.so.15: No such file or directory,
I linked against libmysqlclient.so.16 and got:

dovecot: auth(default): dovecot-auth: /usr/lib/libmysqlclient.so.15: version `libmysqlclient_15' not found (required by dovecot-auth)

Downgrade for the three updated packages to 5.0.77 fixed the issue.

pacman -Syu

dovecot 1.1.13-2 is the recent version and built against new mysql. so update again and it will work.
