Reason for closing: Not a bug
Additional comments about closing: This forces KMS to be enabled and makes our default kernel useless on hardware that doesn't work with KMS.
Load the i915 module from initcpio or from rc.conf's MODULES array and add "i915.modeset=1" to your kernel bootline to enable KMS on your system. No need to recompile the kernel with this option.
Another thing: UXA is needed for KMS, not the other way around!
