Detailsgdm rcscript has three bugs.
1) gdm processname is 'gdm-binary' not 'gdm' 2) stopping message is 'Stopping GDM' not 'Stopping Cron Daemon' 3) when shutting down/rebooting from gdm system menu, gdm kills itself, so stopping from rc.shutdwon script always fails. |

fixed in gdm-2.4.2.95-2
