DetailsDescription:
Starting with udev 141-1, my joystick has been unusable. Under normal circumstances, it was necessary to unplug and replug the joystick after booting, however, as of now that trick no longer works. I've taken rule sets from older versions of udev and gotten nowhere. The device is listed in /proc/bus/input/devices, lsusb, dmesg, and has a proper /dev/ location, at /dev/input/js0, though moving the joystick and pressing buttons does not output anything in /dev/input/js0. With older udev versions, the location would be /dev/js0, and it wouldn't be world-readable, requiring a chmod each boot if you didn't modify the udev rule. I assume this is applicable to all CH Products hardware, though I only have a Combatstick 568 USB. Additional info: * package version: 141-1 Steps to reproduce: Boot with udev 141-1, connect CH Products joystick. |
