Okay, can you give me some specific packages that cause problems?

All packages. Apparently, this isn't a makepkg problem. I logged in with fakeroot, and I'm still having problems. While in fakeroot, I have access to create files, but not update/remove files. It's not a user config problem, with a new user the same problems occur...

I cannot reproduce this. I'm still keeping my packages in Current up to date, building with the latest fakeroot.

Anyone else?

Perhaps older versions of gcc or glibc?
