Description:

I try to cross-compile the Linux Kernel with make CROSS_COMPILE=arm-elf- and it throws the following error:

arm-elf-ld: libgcc.a: No such file: No such file or directory

Additional info:
* Package version: cross-arm-elf-gcc-base 4.3.2-1
* user fthieme posted a possible solution in http://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=63053

I haven't tried this solution yet, when I have I'll post the results.

Steps to reproduce:

Compile kernel with: make CROSS_COMPILE=arm-elf-

My system is up-to-date btw.
