This is directly connected to this task:
http://bugs.archlinux.org/index.php?do=details&id=1399

we will have to rebuild any c++ related programm, and I haven't tried yet but I wonder if wxgtk will build att all now since there are dependencies which will have to be rebuilt first. So as sad as it is that we just had a new working wxgtk we will have to wait until we danced the gcc dance. For the time being, I recommend to downgrade gcc to 3.4.1, which should still be in your /var/cache/pacman/pkg or you can easily obtain it from the 0.7 base beta iso, compile your app and upgrade gcc again.

I was trying to tell you that I compiled wxgtk with the new gcc, with no problems, and after that compiled audacity also with the new gcc, and no problems either.

I'm sorry if I didn't explain right (or didn't understand your answer).

Ok. it's late here, I do it tomorrow. But these are good news, thanks for trying.
