I've found issue 160826 (http://www.netbeans.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=160826) on netbeans.org describing this problem as related to subversion plugin. Turning off subversion plugin in NetBeans helps. NetBeans team suggests using latest build of NetBeans.

OMG!!!! So not critical.

What is OMG? :) Agree, not so critical, but a user must deactive subversion plugin or maintainer should update netbeans package.

I've just updated and found this bug - which really is a blocker in terms of my work, as I use netbeans and subversion on a daily basis.

Is there an updated package? Or alternatively a workaround (which doesn't involve disabling svn) or older package I can roll back to?

Thanks.

Okay, following the discussion on netbeans.org, I tried version 6.7m3, and it fixes this problem. I've uploaded a package for this version to the AUR for the meantime.

Works for me.

Still an issue?

Doesn't work. What subversion and netbeans packages version do you have installed?

According to netbeans forum threads, if you want to keep using netbeans 6.5 and SVN, you have to downgrade to subversion<1.6 (1.6.0's java bindings introduced the problem with netbeans)
