Description:
The mirror for ftp.klid.dk is incorrect. It should be here:
ftp://ftp.klid.dk/archlinux/core/os/i686/
But instead I get
ftp://ftp.klid.dk/archlinux/core/os/@CHARCH@/ (Not too sure about the text, but it's encapsulated in @'s, and has "ARCH" in it.

Additional info:

Steps to reproduce:
Take a USB-pen with the latest boot image on it, boot CD, start installing, select ftp.klid.dk as mirror and try to do the "Select Packages" step.
Then, configure pacman to use the proper mirror (above) and it'll work.

Typo in old mirror list on the installer? Not sure we can really fix this, but since the list is auto-generated now it shouldn't be an issue.

The repo in the latest pacman-mirrorlist package is "ftp://ftp.klid.dk/archlinux/$repo/os/i686".
As soon as I get my vbox working again i'll boot the iso and see what it is there.
or can you give more detail? how does it look in the /etc/pacman.d/mirrorlist file before you start the installer? is it the installer program that screws up the name?

Can this be closed then?
Comment by Gerhard Brauer (GerBra) - Wednesday, 24 June 2009, 18:05 GMT
No, let it open in Releng. I close it when i fixed it.
Currently don't know if we should use the whole mirrorlist as sources in net-install ISOs....
I close it when fixed.

Since 2009.08 we download the actual mirrorlists directly on ISO creation. So this is no problem anymore...
(I will provide the changes made in archiso therefor)
