When saving an .odt with OOo Writer, this one doesn’t save the cursor position. So when reopening the document, Writer reset the cursor at page 1/line 0/col 0. Additional info: * openoffice-base 3.0.1-1 * default config file used * OOo Calc save the cursor position (or the cell selected) * Writer from OOo 3.0.1 Windows saves the cursor position * openoffice-beta-base 3.1.0 has the same issue Steps to reproduce: 1) Open a document with severals pages 2) Go to page P 3) Write something in this page 4) Save the document 5) Open this document again The cursor must be at page P and at the line where you wrote the new text. |

never heard OOo should be capable to save the cursor position. where do you have that information?

According to the ooo manual the cursor position is saved only if the user info (first/last name) is inserted in Options>OpenOffice.org>UserData (just tested and it works).
