The 'gs' app from the ghostscript package needs the 'cairo' package to run. Otherwise, just running 'gs', even without any arguments, fails with "gs: error while loading shared libraries: libcairo.so.2: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory".

You broke your dependency row.

ghostscript depends on libcups that depends on libpng that depends on cairo. the cairo dep is already covered that way and not needed to list in the ghostscript PKGBUILD.

libpng does not depend upon cairo, as can be seen here: http://www.archlinux.org/packages/extra/x86_64/libpng/

Why has this issue been reopened? ghostscript 8.64-5 has the cairo dependency included. So this one is fixed. Closing it again.
