Description:
The same as I described before, but somebody closed the bug while I was afk -.- . Anyway, I just cant start my GIMP. Arch x86-64. (this happened first on i686 arch.. but in the morning I reinstalled my pc).

Additional info:
* package version(s)
* config and/or log files etc.
No special configs..

Steps to reproduce:
Start gimp?

There was a requestion about gdb:
[shiki@ayanami ~]$ gdb
GNU gdb 6.8
Copyright (C) 2008 Free Software Foundation, Inc.
License GPLv3+: GNU GPL version 3 or later <http://gnu.org/licenses/gpl.html>
This is free software: you are free to change and redistribute it.

and "show warranty" for details.
This GDB was configured as "x86_64-unknown-linux-gnu".
(gdb) file gimp
Reading symbols from /usr/bin/gimp...(no debugging symbols found)...done.
(gdb)

So.. any idea? (Google said I have to compile Gimp with -g , but I just installed it with Pacman. Should I recompile it from AUR with -g ?)

Reporting again, it starts after a reboot (I had to attach my second hdd, so I just made a reboot). Still, its a very annoying bug.

Try starting from the command line, notice the output. If the same as http://bugs.archlinux.org/task/13930 please request closure.

Also, if you want to debug something with gdb you have to actually run it.

It *is* not the same. I should rebuild it from source and get a clue what is the problem. But please give me time until Friday, since Im away from home. Sorry for the delay.

Ahaha found a solution:
gimp -n
(-n as in 'new instance'). Don't ask me why I have to use this method ... I cant 'killall gimp'.. so beats me. Any idea?
