Description:
We are a student society providing internet access to the local student dorms.
We have a 1GBit connection and are willing to host another mirror.

Currently the sync is done via IPv6 from ftp.uni-kl.de.

IPv4 connectiviy is available
the url is (http|ftp)://ftp.wh-stuttgart.net/mirrors/archlinux/

IPv6 is too
via (http|ftp)://ftp.ipv6.wh-stuttgart.net/mirrors/archlinux/

the IPv4 from which we might sync from rsync.archlinux.org is
141.70.124.12
IPv6 would be
2001:7c0:e701::20

The Admin Contact would be me:
Hannes Rist (hrist@selfnet.de)

Assigned and added to the mirror check list. Just to make sure: this mirror is meant to be used by anyone and not just by "local students", right?

Yes, it's available to the public.
Thanks for your effort.

*hrm* and the url is ftp.wh-stuttgart.net/pub/mirrors/archlinux/ not ftp.wh-stuttgart.net/mirrors/archlinux/
same for IPv6 ftp.ipv6.wh-stuttgart.net/pub/mirrors/archlinux/ not ftp.ipv6.wh-stuttgart.net/mirrors/archlinux/

I'm kinda jazzed today

That's the curse of having an internal and an external view -.-

Sorry about the confusion.

These are the URLs where the mirror is to be found:

ftp://ftp.wh-stuttgart.net/archlinux/

ftp://ftp.ipv6.wh-stuttgart.net/archlinux/

HTTP is possible but not recommended, would be cool if you'd only mention ftp://
;)

OK, I've added the mirror to our allowed list for rsyncing as well as put the ftp://ftp.wh-stuttgart.net/archlinux/ location on the download page. Please let me know if you have any problems.

We currently don't have any special handling for IPv6 mirrors- we might do this in the future; for now I have omitted this URL.
