No pages of output. Transcript written on etex.log.' instead of a filename. /usr/bin/texi2dvi: texinfo.tex appears to be broken, quitting. Solution found on forum thread http://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?pid=457831#p457831 The problem is that there are new additional hyphenation patterns which causes TeX capacity to be exceeded when some formats are created. In the file /usr/share/texmf/web2c/texmf.cnf, change the line trie_size = 600000 to trie_size = 700000 then run sudo fmtutil-sys --missing |
