DetailsDescription:
After upgrade to Qt 4.5 it is impossible to open any files in kde or qt programs that have russian characters in their name or path. I've found the solution for that problem in russian gentoo forum: to fix that issue Qt has to be build with "-no-iconv" option. That solution also fixed the issue for me. Additional info: * package version(s): qt-4.5.0-3 Steps to reproduce: Just try to open a file with russian letters in name or path. I've attached the diff between my PKGBUILD and the original one. The difference between them just in only one line in arguments for ./configure script. |
This task depends upon
TheDiff.patch
Also I can open a file:///home/core/0_25d0_d57c8713_L.jpeg using gwenview with no problem.
Also a have strange symbols instead of window name in systemsettings. Here is the screenshot: http://i42.tinypic.com/afiys4.jpg
Rebuilding Qt with ./configure -no-iconv fixes all this problems.
