Details

The package in the repo contains a bug regarding plasma. The bug has already been reported upstream:
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=186124
and it's supposedly already fixed in KDE 4.2 trunk. Could we get the fix imported into the kdebase packages? Plasma is unusable with this bug if one switches display resolutions often.

Well, its marked as fixed, but no hint about which revision and I caouldn't find anything relevant in the svn log.

I sent an e-mail to A. Seigo, he said that it was fixed, maybe he can point me to the right revision.

Hi All,

Anything new on this bug - it's really annoying and a show-stopper when it comes to user experience with KDE 4.2
I understood that the Gentoo people have a patch in place - maybe this is the one - http://websvn.kde.org/branches/KDE/4.2/kdebase/workspace/plasma/shells/desktop/panelview.cpp?r1=930724&r2=934863&view=patch

How can i can apply it to my ARCH installation of KDE 4.2 ??
