DetailsThe package in the repo contains a bug regarding plasma. The bug has already been reported upstream:
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=186124 and it's supposedly already fixed in KDE 4.2 trunk. Could we get the fix imported into the kdebase packages? Plasma is unusable with this bug if one switches display resolutions often. |

Anything new on this bug - it's really annoying and a show-stopper when it comes to user experience with KDE 4.2
I understood that the Gentoo people have a patch in place - maybe this is the one - http://websvn.kde.org/branches/KDE/4.2/kdebase/workspace/plasma/shells/desktop/panelview.cpp?r1=930724&r2=934863&view=patch
How can i can apply it to my ARCH installation of KDE 4.2 ??
Thanks a lot
