Description:
Cannot import numpy nor scipy due to not found blas/atlas routine.
python fails as pasted below.
This bug seemed to have occured to others end of last year and is supposed to be closed (references below).

Seemed to be resolved (http://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=60748, http://bugs.archlinux.org/task/12418?project=5), marked as closed but does not work for me.

Works fine here. Are you sure the /usr/lib/libblas.so file it from the blas package?

You are right, I did install some optimized packages from the AUR (atlas-lapack).
Thans for spotting this (and remembering me).
I do not want to try the regular blas package right now, will contact the atlas-lapack owner.
How is the policy about bug closures? Should I request one (I would be fine with it, trust you that it works :) )?
