Openoffice 3.0.1-1's uno.py is broken with Python 2.6. OOo extensions written in python such as the zotero plug-in cannot be installed. This is a minor issue I will not fix. Feel free to apply it to your installed package and vote for an upstream fix at OOo's issuezilla.
