Hi, I upgraded iniscripts package today and on shutdown I
caught a message that /var/lib/misc/random-seed is
missing
Additional info: * initscripts 2009.03-1 * /etc/rc.shutdown and /etc/rc.sysinit have RANDOM_SEED set to /var/lib/misc/random-seed |

These are the packages I upgraded: kernel26 fakeroot initscripts
klibc-udev udev, it's odd to me that /var/lib/misc would be
removed.

I imagine the dir simply needs to be created in the package,
right?

We should create the directory in the filesystem package and check
for its existence in rc.shutdown ([ -d /var/lib/misc ] || mkdir -p
/var/lib/misc)
