Description:
The latest wv2 library in extra changed sonames. This causes runtime linking problems in koffice and prevents kword from reading .doc files. I was able to fix this problem locally by simpling rebuilding from source using abs. (However, I did also have to patch the source to get kexi to compile correctly -- it seems libpqxx has also changed). Additional info: extra/koffice 1.6.3-8 extra/wv2 0.3.0-1 Steps to reproduce: Install latest koffice and wv2. Try to open a Microsoft word .doc file. Fail! |
