Details

Description: Xulrunner source tarball is released days after Firefox, this causes a delay in the package Firefox on ArchLinux. I suggest built Xulrunner with Firefox source tarball, this would make the security updates faster, many of them considered critical.

My package xulrunner-optimized on AUR uses this method for build and works fine.

It seems the firefox sources are just xulrunner with some additional things to build the browser. I checked client.mk, there was only one difference: MODULES_browser and MODULES_xulrunner have some different directories. I compared two checkouts using diff, no difference at all between mozilla/xulrunner in firefox and xulrunner.
I'll implement this when the next version of firefox will be released.
