DetailsDescription:
- After some time in KDE 4.2, even with composite disabled, the Xserver became all scrambled as if it was a hardware issue. The laptop was fine under ubuntu 8.10 and 9.04 beta 4 as also under windows so hardware fault wasn't the issue. - Updated the driver to 180.29 of testing (maintaining the xorg-server from extra) and everything went fine afterwards. Additional info: * hardware - 01:00.0 VGA compatible controller: nVidia Corporation Quadro NVS 140M (rev a1) * package version(s) - nvidia 180.22 - xorg-server 1.5.3-4 * config and/or log files etc. Steps to reproduce: - I couldn't trigger it on demand but it happened pretty often. |

If it's working fine with nvidia from testing you'll just have to wait until it hits extra.
