Description:

Today there was an update to the wpa_supplicant package (version 0.6.8-1) in testing repo. On my next boot I noticed the error message "wpa_supplicant: invalid option -- 'w' [...]". It seems like the new wpa_supplicant uses an uppercase 'W' for that wait option. So I edited the script /usr/lib/network/wireless.subr to according to that change but it still does not connect.
I now get the error message ":: home up - Wireless association failed. [FAIL]". So Im back on wpa_supplicant 0.5.11-1 from core.

Additional info:
* package version(s)
updated wpa_supplicant 0.5.11-1 to wpa_supplicant 0.6.8-1
* config and/or log files etc.
using wifi connection with wpa2 and ralink rt2870 chip

Steps to reproduce:

-> 'netcfg profile' in console after upgrading the wpa_supplicant package
