Description:
I have just upgraded my KDE 4.2 to 4.2.1 and since then Quicklaunch widget is shown literally as "..." (3 dots) on my panel. As far as I've been able to guess, it's like each dot where a minute icon, in fact, they are clickable and the right app gets lauched. I have left-clicked on it and selected "Quicklauch settings". Then I have tried out several combinations changing the number of rows and visible icons just in case this could fix it, but it didn't.

Steps to reproduce:
- Install the Quicklaunch widget on your panel
- No sure if this also happens if you previously didn't use this widget.

I hope you find a solution for this soon, as it's quick annoying to me.

Best regards! :-)

Hi Pierre,

I have created a brand-new user as you suggested, but unfortunately the issue perstists. I have taken a couple of screenshots so you can fully understand what I mean. The next two screenshots are made on the brand-new user's desktop I've created:

2.- http://img17.imageshack.us/img17/3115/quicklauch02.png

I hope it helps to sort it out soon.

Thanks a lot for your intest and quick reply.

Best regards! ;-)
