DetailsDescription:
MPlayer's build system can use yasm to compile in a few additional optimizations if yasm is found by MPlayer's configure script. It's not that much of an improvement, but then, it's not that much of a dependency either. ;) This feature doesn't have a --disable switch in configure, so right now the results of makepkg are unpredictable depending on whether the build host happens to have yasm installed.
