DetailsBy default anacron honors the script in /etc/cron.{daily,weekly,monthly}. This is good, but if cron and anacron are both running it happens that these scripts get runt two consecutive times, one time by cron, one time by anacron.
In these directories there should be a script that updates the anacron's timestamps for that specific job, e.g. /etc/cron.daily/00anacron: ---- #!/bin/sh # # Updates anacron time stamps. test -x /usr/sbin/anacron || exit 0 anacron -u cron.daily ---- The script is called 00anacron to assure that it will be executed before the other scripts. |
