Hawaii's first mirror is online, thanks to HOSEF (the Hawaii Open Source Education Foundation). The bandwidth is thanks to the University of Hawaii.

We actually want the source IP address- can I assume that is 128.171.104.136 (mirrors.hosef.org)?

You should have rsync access now to rsync.archlinux.org if you want to sync from there.

Updated to sync daily from official rsync server. Looks like we made it on the Downloads page. Cool! :)

We just had a power outage that cased some drive failues. The server should be back up by Wednesday (4/1) at the latest.

mirrors.hosef.org will be going away soon. We are replacing the mirror with a new address.

The new address is http://mirror.ancl.hawaii.edu/linux/archlinux/
and
ftp://mirror.ancl.hawaii.edu/linux/archlinux/

Please update this since mirrors.hosef.org will stop working in the near future.
