/dev/floppy/0 /mnt/fl vfat user,noauto,unhide 0 0

unhide is an option for iso9660 and udf only according to the mount manpage. Atleast I couldn't get my floppy drive working with unhide. Removed it and my floppies worked great. The type should also be 'auto' as not all floppies use the vfat format.

Removed 'unhide' for next release of the filesystem package. I've left it set as vfat though. From my own tests, vfat disks were not autodetected when I used 'auto' in fstab.
