Detailsxorg-server (at least 1.5.3-4) has been built without --enable-record. I assume this applies to both x86_64 and i686, but I marked only x86_64 since it's the only one I'm sure about.
This is useful for packages such as community/xnee to be able to record X11 actions and play them back later, currently they error out with: Xlib: extension "RECORD" missing on display ":0.0". Gentoo has it enabled by default so they can't be too much bloat, right? ;-) ( http://bugs.gentoo.org/236900 ) |

I have asking and people has told me that xorg-server have to be compiled with --enable-record .
