libknewstuff.so.1 => not found
/opt/kde/bin/kpalmdoc:
libreadline.so.4 => not found
/opt/kde/bin/kstars:
libknewstuff.so.1 => not found
/opt/kde/bin/klettres:
libknewstuff.so.1 => not found
/opt/kde/bin/korganizer:
libknewstuff.so.1 => not found
libknewstuff.so.1 => not found

this explains why korganizer and kstars do not run:

kstars: error while loading shared libraries: libknewstuff.so.1: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

i guess, that this .so file is from an older kde and was linked somehow to the new one

if you rebuild things, make also sure, these following bins link to readline5 (wait for pilot-link to be rebuild or rebuild it yourself - as it also links to readline4 and not 5)

reinstalling kdelibs provides the missing libknewstuff.so.1

renaming bug for readline 4 only problems
