DetailsDescription:
XFCE's Terminal has an annoying display glitch. It tends to get redrawn badly when switching virtual desktops from firefox to a desktop with terminal - what occasionally happens is, that the border of the terminal is shown, while the contents of the window are kept from the firefox window - if you move the terminal window a bit, it gets redrawn properly. I have no idea what's the culprit here - whether firefox, or terminal, or my window manager, or the xorg stack, but I would rule out the WM since it happens only with this particular application (it doesn't even happen with gnome-terminal. Additional info: terminal 0.2.8.3-2 xorg-server 1.5.3-4 xf86-video-ati 6.10.0-1 firefox 3.0.6-1 enlightenment E17 (from SVN some time ago) Steps to reproduce: 1) open terminal 2) switch to desktop with maximized firefox 3) switch back to desktop with terminal 4) repeat until corruption occurs |

What happens when you run it with a different windowmanager, something like metacity for example?
