had gDesklets installed, tried to install planner got this error msg:

checking for file conflicts...
error: the following file conflicts were found:
/opt/gnome/share/mime/XMLnamespaces: exists in filesystem
/opt/gnome/share/mime/globs: exists in filesystem
/opt/gnome/share/mime/magic: exists in filesystem


errors occurred, no packages were upgraded.

They are owned by gDesklets (I checked).

gDesklets v. 0.30-1
planner v. 0.12-1

fixed both packages to use update-mime-database this way both package generate and merge these files
