I thought about this kind of issue yesterday, but didn't bring it up because i wasn't exactly sure of the nature of the problem. Is this kind of stuff possible to fix once-and-for-all? This way we would get rid of lots of problems in one go. Is there perhaps possible to make a script which notifies a dev upon upload to extra if the same, or a later package already exists in testing?
