DetailsDescription:
Obtaining an IP address with dhcp using netcfg causes an error. netcfg is giving bad arguments to dhcpcd. Can't bring up a network using dhcp. It gives the following error message: dhcpcd: invalid option -- 'q' The problem is on line 45 of /usr/lib/network/ethernet.subr: if ! dhcpcd -qL -t $DHCP_TIMEOUT $DHCP_OPTIONS $INTERFACE; then I checked the man page. -q isn't a dhcpcd option. Should be: if ! dhcpcd -t $DHCP_TIMEOUT $DHCP_OPTIONS $INTERFACE; then Steps to reproduce: Configure a network to use dhcp. netcfg <network_name> Package Version: netcfg 2.1.2-1 |
