DetailsIt would be nice if the following line could be added
to the default /etc/skel/.bashrc . -----8<----- test -n "$DISPLAY" && export TERM=xterm-color ----->8----- Having color xterms for free would be an appreciated default feature. Few users are aware of the subtilities of termcap/terminfo etc... Last but not least, many thanks for your very nice distro. |

I second this, lots of people seem to have problem with this. My poor irssi was colorless as well in the beginning :-)
