DetailsEvery other package backs up their pam.d file. By every other package I mean shadow, coreutils, openssh, pam, screen, etc. Postgresql doesn't back up its pam file and thus your configuration gets nuked on update.
Simple fix. Add '/etc/pam.d/postgresql' to the package's backup array. |
