DetailsHello,
In .7 beta ISO, fresh install (to a test machine), pacman -S kde still shows it linked to XFREE and balks even though xfree was not installed (nor included in the base iso). pacman -S xorg fixes this. Then pacman -S kde now shows no conflicts, but coughs on arts and kdelibs download stating "cannot get file size for ..." followed by a "broken pipe". Also, it is still trying to get kde 3.2.3, not kde 3.3. pacman exists, leaves the /tmp/pacman.lck file in place, and failes to download/install. rm -f the packman.lck file. Then changed the /etc/pacman.d/current and extra files to point to various servers, including using the archlinux.org ftp server first. Same error, same files... Sincerely, Dave...... |
This task depends upon
Same command as last night..... didn't work last night... did work today.....
Lets write this one off to transient issues with the 'Net........
