Detailshi
advansys suppport was removed from the stock scsi kernel to enable it again: Here is the Fix I got it to work by by deselecting "select only drivers expected to compile cleanly" under "Code maturity level options" Then it will show up under SCSI low lever drivers. perhaps other scsi components get lost during update to 2.6.8.1 don't know it has not be compiled into the kernel, module would be enough for me |
This task depends upon
would it be possible to include some scsi controllers as modules to the ide kernel or as add on?
i need this only for an external scanner and i need to reboot if i forget to turn it on before booting
