DetailsLancelot is broken under 4.2. Running the command has absolutely no
effect -- the app quits silently without producing any menu and without printing anything either to STDOUT or to STDERR. This issue is addressed at http://lancelot.fomentgroup.org/faq#menu-doesnt-open as being caused by a lack of a D-BUS file (/usr/share/dbus-1/services/org.kde.lancelot.service) but that file is present. Lancelot is provided by kdeplasma-addons. Relevant information: * KDE Version = 4.2.0 (vanilla, not kdemod) * kdeplasma-addons version = 4.2.0-1 * i686 architecture. No clue about x86_64 * The KDE install is an upgrade from 4.1.3 - I know it would be a good idea to try a fresh install, but that is really not feasible, since I don't have enough space for a new partition and no other computer. If someone has a clean install, that would be useful. |

The lancelot command tiself does not do anything; you have to add it via the "add plasma widget" wizard.

Oh, how stupid of me. In that case, the question is resolved.
