DetailsPacman lacks an important feature that for example apt has, it should say how much space in your hard drive is going to take the installation of a package(s), and how many many Bytes it has to download from internet.

Can't understand why this feature request is of low severity. I just logged in here to request this feature only to find it already requested but of low severity. Maybe displaying the amount of space required for installation isn't easily feasable since it requires the knowledge of size of the unextracted files. But displaying the size of the package is very usefull and should be easy to implement. The database file already include an entry for package md5sum so adding an entry for package size will do it.

Added compressed size. Installed size is currently costly to get at the gensync stage, so it'll stay out for now.
