DetailsIt would be great if namcap could check permissions for files in /usr/share($docdir,man} (maybe other directories too) and show a warning if permissions are not 644.
It would help avoid problems like As a rule most if not all programs written for Linux, besides maybe some small ones, follow the 644 rule. Thats not the case for applications written for other operating systems. I dont know if namcap already checks permission for /bin and /usr/bin/ directories. If it doesnt it should check for 755 there too. |
