When trying to install snort 2.8.2.1-8 via pacman, it ends up in error saying that var/log/snort/alert does not exist. --- /tmp/alpm_B2G8ys/.INSTALL: line 6: var/log/snort/alert: No such file or directory error: scriptlet failed to execute correctly --- However, the binary seems to be installed, but it's unclear if the installation actually went well or if something is broken. Fixed on snort 2.8.3.2-1.
