sorry cannot confirm that with 3.3.0 packages everything is alright
perhaps you got a broken package try to reinstall
kdelibs 3.3.0

as far i remember libknewstuff.so is (was?) part of kdepim (at least, it was for 3.2.2)

I have kdepim installed ofcourse... (3.3.0 from archlinux.org).

I had the same problem with kstars on my laptop and desktop - re-installing kdelibs fixed it.

I had the same problem.
I recompiled kdepim package using ABS and upgraded.
Now everything is OK.
PKGBUILD file of kdepim package has an error.
Before compilation you should
modify line "kdeversion=3.3.0" to be "kdeversion=3.3"
(or something like that).
