erm, because i would intuitively think, that, after looking for a certain program, which is tkmib in my case, i installing the package that contains this program makes this program available on my computer... plain of point of user view though, which includes not having to think about issues with the package managent as well.

Well you didnt mention any reasons in your bug report, which wasnt detailed at all. I propose reading the Reporting Bug Guidelines wiki link above.
