VLC 0.9.8a-4 in testing does not have an XVideo option for playing video files. It was there in 0.9.8a-3, but disappeared in 0.9.8a-4 Additional info: * package version(s) 0.9.8a-4 = no xv 0.9.8a-3 = with xv support * config and/or log files etc. Default config files Steps to reproduce: Install 0.9.8a-4 from testing repository. |

Confirmed on my system. XV output works with mplayer, so it has to have something to do with the vlc package itself.
